Opening the ranch to our community has felt like such a gift to us.
Red Tail River Ranch sits on 22 acres in the Kenosha Mountains, surrounded by the things we love most about Colorado. The river runs through the property, the mountains stretch out in every direction, and wildlife seems to wander through whenever it pleases.
If fly fishing is your thing, you'll love the gold metal stretch of river steps away from the door. Guided trips are just two miles from the ranch, and you can even have your fly fishing instructor meet you right here. After a day on the water, come back for a soak in the hot tub, a little disc golf, or dinner made by a private chef.
Maybe you come for the fishing. Maybe you come for the mountains. Maybe you come to gather, connect, or simply have a little room to breathe and be together.

Kristen has a lovely home, with all the amenities you could want (fire pit, hot tub, etc.). The price was well worth it as the location is close to many mountain towns and it’s a large house too with plenty of beds.

Amazing house to spend Christmas with my family. Kristen put up a tree and we were very comfortable the entire time. Everything was clean and functional! GREAT WATER PRESSURE! Overall a great experience for anyone looking for a spacious house to accommodate a large group and be surrounded by nature and fresh air. I would recommend 10/10! Stayed with kids
This home was warm, comfortable, and welcoming! Our family (8 adults, 3 children ages 13, 11, and 1) stayed here for 4 days to celebrate Thanksgiving, with more than ample space for all of us.
The added little touches from the labels on the kitchen drawers and cabinets (SO HELPFUL!), to bathroom amenities (soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, earplugs, cotton balls and swabs), to the charging cords and multiple outlets throughout the hose, added to the beauty of this home. Kristen was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with. She provided suggestions on places to eat, shop (King Soopers was my choice) and things to do. We took the kids (and most of the adults) to the Sasquatch Outpost for a fun outing one afternoon.
All in all, this place is definitely worth staying at! Our family is already talking about planning another visit in the next couple of years!

Incredible. Staying here was healing and a gift to our family. We felt at home. It is beautiful! The host was available and kind. It was impeccably clean and warm. Full of small details that were above and beyond but so appreciated. A wonderful spot for our family to stay. I hope to come back soon.
